Description
Our raw cream comes from our whole raw milk, which is a healthy, natural choice for your family. It comes from our herd of Guernsey and Jersey cows. The cows are milked twice daily, every day of the year. The milk is cooled quickly after it is produced to preserve freshness. We bottle it at the farm within a day or so after it is produced to ensure you receive the freshest milk possible. The milk is rich in cream and not homogenized so the cream will separate and rise to the top of the jug after sitting for a few hours. Just give the jug a shake to mix the cream back in before using the milk. Most of our cows (over 75%) produce the A2/A2 beta casein. Research has shown that A2 milk is more easily digestible.
The cows never receive rbGH (growth hormones). The cows are fed a simple diet of alfalfa and grass hay. They receive a small portion of grain after each milking.
Milk Barn Creamery’s whole raw cow’s milk is a delicious alternative to traditional pasteurized milk available in the grocery store. The Rose family has a long history of producing quality milk. The family started milking cows in the 1920’s and has milked cows continuously since then. Our farm is certified by the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food (UDAF). The UDAF inspects the farm regularly and tests the milk and other products to ensure their compliance with established safety and health standards for milk. Milk Barn Creamery is well-known for producing among the highest quality raw milk in Utah, especially northern Utah.
